How We Work
We support individual artists, designers and makers through a select group of institutions: from universities and art colleges; to museums and cultural bodies.
We incubate new ideas – enabling both the individuals and partner institutions we support to explore new ideas, often yielding unexpected outcomes. We pilot new initiatives, defining models for growth so they can be developed into larger programmes in partnership with national cultural bodies.
We can only provide support through our existing awards programmes. We will not be able to respond to any unsolicited applications for funding.

Our Awards
Our support is diverse. It ranges from focused professional development awards for design students, to bursaries, mentoring and year-long fellowships for mid-career curators. Occasionally, we fund existing programmes; but we like to develop our own initiatives – piloting ideas that can be developed into larger programmes.

Partners
We enjoy working in partnership with some of the UK’s leading cultural insitutions, universities and colleges.
Collaboration is key to the way we operate. We like to work with a partner organisation, identifying opportunities to explore and develop. We aim to create an experience that supports both the creative growth of the award winner, as well as the partner organisation.
